A Des Plaines man is being charged with first-degree attempted murder following the Tuesday incident in which he pursued a woman's car.

DES PLAINES, IL — A Des Plaines man is accused of attempted first-degree murder after he reportedly pursued a woman's vehicle and then rammed it multiple times with his minivan, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office. Keoni Zucco, 29, of Des Plaines, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of domestic battery in connection with the Tuesday evening incident.
Zucco is being held in the Cook County Jail without bond and is due back in court on Oct. 5.
Police responded to the 9100 block of West Oaks Avenue, unincorporated Maine Township, at around 6:14 p.m. regarding an incident involving Zucco and a woman. Following an argument between the two, the woman and her two children reportedly fled Zucco in their car. Zucco allegedly drove after the woman’s car and rammed into it multiple times with his minivan, before his vehicle was disabled. The two young children — a 4-year-old and infant — were ejected from their car seats.
