Favia Makes Fall 2021 Dean's List at Adelphi University in New York
Alexis Favia, of Arlington Heights, has been named to Adelphi University's Fall 2021 Semester Dean's List. Favia was among a select group of outstanding students recognized by Adelphi's deans of Arts and Sciences, Education and Health Science, Business, Nursing and Public Health, Social Work and Psychology for superior academic performance. The list comprises full-time students-registered for 12 or more credits-who have completed at least nine graded credits who achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester. This recognition becomes part of the student's academic record and is entered into the individual's transcript.

Hand Named to Dean's List for Fall 2021 at Cedarville University
Cedarville University student Kyra Hand, from Arlington Heights, majoring in Communication, was named to the Dean's List for Fall 2021. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Boyan Named to College of Charleston Fall 2021 Dean's List
Janine Boyan, of Arlington Heights, was named to the College of Charleston Fall 2021 Dean's List. Boyan is majoring in Business Administration. To quality for Dean's List (Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.60 or higher and complete a minimum of 14 semester hours.

Caitlin Cherwin Named to UM Fall 2021 Dean's Honor Roll
Caitlin Cherwin, of Arlington Heights, was named to the University of Mississippi's Fall 2021 Honor Roll lists. Cherwin was named to the Dean's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74. In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

Students Receive Degrees at Miami University Fall Commencement
Miami University awarded degrees to students during fall commencement Dec. 10, 2021. Local students include:- Kevin Napoleon, of Arlington Heights, graduated with an M.S. Sport Leadership&Mgt degree in Sport Leadership & Management.

MSOE Student Mical Places Third In National ASC Student Competition
Beth Mical, from Arlington Heights, was part of a team of Milwaukee School of Engineering students who competed in the Associated Schools of Construction Student Competition in Reno, Nevada in February. The team took third place in the National Preconstruction Competition, which was sponsored by PCL Construction. Mical is majoring in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Civil Engineering at MSOE.
