Greenspan earns degree from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
Abby Greenspan, of Arlington Heights, graduated on May 16. She earned a Bachelor's Degree of business administration in marketing. More than 1,700 students received degrees this May, including 1,685 from the Whitewater campus and 95 from the Rock County campus.

More than 450 students graduated in May of 2020. The pre-recorded virtual commencement ceremony debuted on May 23. A traditional celebration will be held on campus at a later date.

Local students recognized with departmental awards at Wheaton College
The following students were recognized with departmental awards at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation ceremony:
- Brendan Altieri, of Arlington Heights, was honored with the James M. Lane Outdoor Leadership Scholarship given by the Center for Vocation and Career.
- Emma Herrmann, of Arlington Heights, was honored with the Ann Haskins Special Education Scholarship given by the Education Department.

Meyer graduates from Valdosta State University
Shannon Meyer, of Arlington Heights, has earned the Master of Library and Information Science from Valdosta State University. Meyer was among more than 1,100 students recognized during VSU's 229th Commencement.
