ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The Village of Arlington Heights said groundbreaking on the next phase of the Arlington Downs development is expected to happen soon. According to The Daily Herald, "soon" is within the next 30 days. Arlington Downs sits along Euclid between IL-53 and Arlington International Racecourse, and the $320 million development site already has 214 luxury apartments with additional ones planned, the Village of Arlington Heights said in a recent Facebook update.

In addition to more residential space, the amenities planned in the next phase are a new hotel, 40,000 square-feet of commercial space and a First Ascent climbing wall facility.
