Disability Employment Awareness Award Nominations Sought

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The Arlington Heights Commission for Citizens with Disabilities is seeking nominations by for its Disability Employment Awareness Award. Nominees should be submitted by August 30, 2019.

The award is given in recognition of the National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), which is a time to celebrate the many and varied contributions of America's workers with disabilities, according to information on the village's Facebook page. The theme for this year, which marks 74 years since the first observance, “The Right Talent, Right Now.”
