District 214 to Begin Summer Enrichment Program for Students

High School District 214 this summer will launch a new Summer Enrichment Program intended to further challenge students’ intellectual curiosity.

The initiative, part of the District’s Talent Development Program, will feature focused student learning on a variety of topics – from art, science and philosophy to fashion, rock and roll history and the analysis of films that helped shape a generation.

“We’re always looking for new ways to help prepare our students for future success,” said Lazaro Lopez, Associate Superintendent for Teaching and Learning. “This program provides even more opportunities to help students reach their full potential, and we’re confident these sessions will challenge them to think critically and in new ways.”
