Elderly Woman Dies After Domestic Disturbance In Arlington Heights: Police
The incident was not an active shooter situation, according to police, despite social media posts stating otherwise.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — An elderly woman died Saturday, shortly after officers responded to a domestic incident in Arlington Heights, according to authorities.
Police arrived at the address in the 300 block of West Campbell Street around 7:40 p.m. following a report of a domestic disturbance, law enforcement said. The 74-year-old died about 40 minutes later, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, which listed the location of the incident resulting in the death as the same block as the address to which police were called.
“While this matter remains an active investigation, there is no associated public safety risk,” Arlington Heights police said in a Facebook post.
