Elk Grove Township Hosts Annual Job Fair Wednesday, March 28

Local job seekers are encouraged to attend Elk Grove Township’s biannual spring Job Fair, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights. More than 50 local companies will be on-hand to meet potential candidates as they look to fill nearly 1,000 positions.

A number of the businesses will be pre-screening candidates at the fair, as well as setting up formal interviews on-site. Job seekers will also have the opportunity to make an appointment with the Elk Grove Township Employment Support Center professionals who assist with reviewing resumes, interviewing skills, job campaigns and all other aspects of a job search.

“Elk Grove Township prides itself on assisting residents by connecting them with employment opportunities,” said Elk Grove Township Supervisor Mike Sweeney. “Ensuring residents are gainfully employed so they can be self-sufficient is one of our core philosophies as we continue to support and empower our community.”

Those who attend the Job Fair are encouraged to wear business attire and bring copies of their resume and a pen and notebook, along with copies of professional references. The event is open to residents of Elk Grove Township and surrounding communities.

This event is free, but registration is encouraged. Attendees are asked to bring their Eventbrite ticket to the fair. Walk-ins are also welcome.

The Elk Grove Township Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 28, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Job seekers are asked to enter through door #33.
