The goal is to reward the high school that donates the most boxes of cereal to benefit the Elk Grove Township Food Pantry.

Elk Grove Township has initiated the first-ever Cereal Bowl Competition, which will take place on Friday, October 7, 2016 prior to the start of the football game between Elk Grove and Rolling Meadows High Schools, which will be held at Rolling Meadows beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fans for each team are encouraged to bring boxes of cereal to the game, to support their favorite team. The high school that has collected the most cereal boxes will be the named the winner.

The goal of this friendly competition is to create more awareness for the ongoing need for donations at the Elk Grove Township Food Pantry.
