Expressway Shooting Arrest Made Following Incident Near Schaumburg: Police
A 29-year-old Chicago man has been charged with multiple felonies following the Friday morning incident on Interstate 290.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — A Chicago man has been charged with multiple felonies stemming from a reported expressway shooting Friday morning near Schaumburg. Reginald McGee, 29, is accused of felony counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
According to Illinois State Police, McGee remains in custody pending his first court appearance. The Cook County State's Attorney's Office approved the charges.
At around 7:55 a.m. Friday, police responded to the shooting on Interstate 290 westbound near Golf Road. A victim's vehicle was shot at by the driver of another car. No injuries were reported from this incident.

After an "exhaustive investigation," agents identified a suspect vehicle and suspect. McGee was taken into custody later in the day.
