ROSEMONT, IL — Two months after a trial was set to begin, the details of a settlement reached on behalf of the family of Kenneka Jenkins, who was found dead inside a walk-in-freezer at a Rosemont hotel, have been released. The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting the family will receive more than $6 million in a wrongful death settlement.

While a trail had been set to begin in October, it was announced that month that a settlement had been reached in August on behalf of Jenkins' mother, Tereasa Martin, who has requested terms of the agreement be sealed from the public.
