Arlington Heights Farmers Market Opens Today

The market will occupy Commuter Parking Lot S at Vail Avenue and Fremont Street behind the Arlington Heights Memorial Library every Saturday through Oct. 20.

The Farmers Market is in its 13th year and items sold include fresh produce, plants, breads, pastries, flowers and cheese, the village website states. There even will be a vendor sharpening knives.

Any extra funds from the Farmers Market are donated to community nonprofit organizations, states the Discover Arlington Heights website.
