Fish Fry Season 2022: Best Spots Near Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — With the Lenten season nearly here, fish fry restaurants and events will become more popular than ever. Plenty of local spots are frying up fish for those looking to abstain from meat on Fridays beginning March 4, or just looking to enjoy a good meal. Lent runs through April 14.

Knights of Columbus

From 5-8 p.m. March 4, March 11, March 18, March 25, April 1, April 8 at the KC Hall. Fish dinner menu includes: deep-fried cod, tater rounds, coleslaw, mostaccoli with marinara sauce, cornbread muffins and complimentary coffee or tea. Full cash bar, including free refills on soda. Cost is adults $15, children 5-12 $8, under 5 FREE and carryout is $13.

Eddie's of Arlington

10 East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights

Dine-in our take-out is available every day at Eddie's. The fish fry, served with a choice of potato and garlic bread, is all-you-can-eat for $14 on Fridays.

Peggy Kinnane's Irish Restaurant & Pub

8 N Vail Ave., Arlington Heights

Kinnane's Famous Fish N' Chips ($19.95), according to the menu, features a fresh heaping of Alaskan cod fillets dipped in the restaurant's special recipe Guinness beer batter, served traditionally with Irish "chips," Killarney sauce and coleslaw.

Prairie House Tavern

The fish fry returns on Feb. 25 and is available every Friday. The fish fry ($13) features beer-battered Atlantic cod served with coleslaw & choice of a side. Fish sandwich also available. Dine in the heated patio, carry-out or delivery.

The all-you-can-eat fish fry ($16) is served with seasoned red potatoes, mixed veggies, homemade coleslaw, and a dinner roll. Limited indoor seating and curbside pick up available.
