A lifelong supporter of St. Emily’s Parish, Carey has always been involved in the community. With no social security income and currently unemployed, Carey has always stayed positive and still walks to church every day.

·Gary Altergott of Elk Grove Village
As a Vietnam veteran, Gary has proudly served his country. The hard working father of two lost his job in 2006 and could use a new roof as his current roof is in very poor condition and the contractor is out of business.
·Henry Blim of Mt. Prospect
A local hero and WWII veteran, Henry, now in his 90’s, is in need of a new roof. Doing so much for others throughout his life, Henry could use the support of the community to help him win this free roof.
One of these community members will receive a free roof – valued between $8,000 and $12,000 – from Peterson Roofing. The public is invited and encouraged to read the finalists’ stories and vote for their favorite at https://noroofleftbehind.com/program/il/1085.
“We had an incredible number of wonderful nominees this year. The process to narrow to the final four was extremely challenging,” said Jim Peterson, Jr. “Our finalists are all very deserving and we look to our community to help us pick our winner with their votes.”
Due to the great success and feedback from last year’s giveaway, Peterson Roofing has decided to donate two roofs in 2014. The second campaign is currently underway and nominations are being accepted until August 3rd. “It’s the least we can do to give back to the community that has supported us for the past 36+ years”, says Jim Peterson, Jr.
