Free virtual class with live Q & A

Cancer survivorship – The Benefits of Exercise

Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) cancer care services will host a virtual class entitled “Get Moving Through Cancer Treatment and Beyond, The Benefits of Exercise.” This free, virtual event includes live Q & A and will be held Tuesday, October 18 from 6:30-8 p.m.

This presentation will include: benefits of exercise during and after cancer treatment, ways to safely exercise, appropriate exercise intensity levels and what to do before and after you exercise.

Presenters Amy Miller, PT, GCS, CLT-LANA, is a board certified Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and Tom Rosinski, PT, DPT, CLT-LANA, is a board certified Specialist in Oncology Physical Therapy and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
