The Arlington Heights Memorial Library Friends of the Library group will host a lobby sale on June 13 and 14 in the library’s lower level lobby from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13 and noon to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 14. Summer reading will be highlighted, with plenty of adult and children’s books and videotapes, as well as other materials, for sale.

The Friends of the Library will also be at the Arlington Heights Farmers Market the second Saturday of every month, June 13, July 11, August 8, September 12 and October 10, 2015. The Friends of the Arlington Heights Memorial Library is a not-for-profit organization that raises funds to provide gifts (programs, materials, equipment, and artwork) for the library. The Friends sponsor four yearly used book sales and maintain a book boutique (located on the first floor) offering used books and magazines for sale throughout the year.
