Group Of Masked Thieves Hit Up Liquor Store: Elk Grove Village PD
Preliminary information from a nearby camera shows 7 to 8 masked suspects entering the business and removing alcohol, according to police.

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — A group of seven to eight thieves robbed an Elk Grove Village liquor store early Monday morning. According to police, there is no threat to the community.
A sergeant from the Elk Grove Village Police Department was on patrol at around 3 a.m. Monday, when they saw two vehicles, a black Infiniti sedan and a gray Alfa Romeo, quickly leaving the parking lot of Lively Liquors, 1170 East Higgins Road.
The sergeant simultaneously noticed the front glass door to the business was shattered. After broadcasting the incident over the police radio and following the vehicles westbound Higgins Road for a short distance, the sergeant returned to the business to locate additional suspects and protect the scene.

The business was searched with no one located inside. Preliminary information from a nearby camera shows 7 to 8 masked suspects entering the business and removing alcohol. There are no reported injuries.
"We commend the EGVPD 3rd Shift sergeant and fellow team members for their diligence in looking out for suspicious activity," police said in a social media post. "Members of the public can help too, if you see anything suspicious, don’t hesitate to call 911."
