Hampshire Man Dies Following Crash On I-90 Near Schaumburg
The 57-year-old succumbed to his injuries at an area hospital shortly after Thursday's one-car accident.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — A 57-year-old Hampshire man was killed Thursday after his car struck a guardrail and rolled over on Interstate 90 near Roselle Road, Schaumburg. Charles Finch, 57, was taken to an area hospital after the one-car accident and died from his injuries at 4:15 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Illinois State Police said the accident happened at around 4:02 p.m. Finch was traveling westbound on I-90 in the right lane when he lost control of his vehicle. He was the sole occupant of the car.
The two right lanes of I-90 westbound were closed for the investigation. All lanes were reopened at around 7:35 p.m.
