On Friday, May 16, John Hersey High School’s Service Over Self club will host nearly 200 students with cognitive and developmental delays for a day of carnival games, lunch, and fun. The 34th annual Funner Olympics is the most non-competitive Olympics in the world. Under the direction of SOS Sponsor Mark Gunter, over 200 Hersey students will work the games, help with food, or work individually with the participants to foster friendships.
