House Fire Investigated In Elk Grove Village: Police

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — A house fire in the area of Kendal Road and Lancaster Avenue was put out Wednesday afternoon, but officials were asking residents to still avoid the area due to fire and police activity. The Elk Grove Village Police Department sent out a community notification just before noon, saying "there's still equipment on scene."
