How Often Should Garbage be Picked Up in Arlington Heights?
The village wants residents input on refuse services.

The Arlington Heights Village Board has selected Groot as the refuse contract service provider for the Village at its Board meeting on Monday, November 16. Before deciding on details of a contract, the Village would like residents to give their input on the level of service they would like to receive.
Residents can click on this email link, healthmail@vah.com, and mention which of the following three collection options they prefer. Deadline for the responses are 5 p.m., Thursday, December 3. Please also include your address.
Three Collection Options:
Alternative 1: Twice Per Week Refuse Collection
*Pricing does not include the $6 solid waste infrastructure fee
Curbside: $15.75 per month
Backdoor: $30.00
Refuse Cart Rental: $2.50 per month
Alternative 2: Once per Week with the Option to Subscribe to Twice per Week Refuse Collection
*Pricing does not include the $6 solid waste infrastructure fee
Curbside Once: $11.50 per month
Backdoor Once: $22.00
Curbside Twice: $18.50
Backdoor Twice: $34.00
Free Refuse Cart to all Residents
Alternative 3: Once per Week
