How To Recycle Holiday Lights In Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — With the holiday season quickly coming to a close, many residents are now looking for ways to get rid of their extra and unwanted lights after taking them down. One option is to bring them to the Arlington Heights Public Works or Health departments for recycling through Feb. 24, 2023.

Broken or unwanted lights can be placed in a recycling bin in front of the Public Works, 222 N. Ridge Ave., any time. They can also be brought to health department at Village Hall between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.
