Images Of Suspect In 6 Armed Robberies Released: Schaumburg PD

Police are seeking assistance from the public to identify a person involved in robberies near the area of Algonquin and Meacham roads.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — Police released several surveillance images Friday of a suspect believed to be involved in as many as six armed robberies at businesses in the area of Algonquin and Meacham roads. The suspect — described as a male between 18 and 20 years of age, 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, 155 pounds, with a thin build — used a black, semi-automatic handgun to demand cash and merchandise.

There have been no reported injuries, according to the community alert. Police said the suspect ran from the scene into nearby residential or commercial areas, following each robbery. He wears dark hoodies (hood up), light gray sweatpants or joggers, athletic shoes, black gloves, and a black mask covering most of the face.
