IncrediBull Fun at new Mount Prospect McDonald's
MacArthur Middle School holds a McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the NEW Mount Prospect McDonald's on Rand Road
On Wednesday, December 9th, MacArthur Middle School held a very successful McTeacher’s Night at the new McDonald’s in Mount Prospect on Rand Road that just opened their doors on December 1st. The restaurant was full of families supporting the school as well as waiting to see their teachers, the Chicago Bulls IncrediBulls and performances by all the talented MacArthur music students.
Teachers overtook the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for MacArthur. The McTeacher jobs included, greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, selling pies, serving ice cream, and even dressing up in a pie costume. McTeachers working included McPrincipal Steve Lee, McAssistant principal Chris Alms, Vicki Hehn, Marybeth McWilliams, Ashley Sterba, LuAnn Casurella, Susan Peckworth, Abbey Lynch, Stephanie O’Connor, Jill Halpin, Dave Alexander, Christine O’Brien, Kym Brunner, Susan Koepke, Carolyn Collins, Joel Grafman, Shelly Kutcher, Megan Murray, Laura Jaeschke, PTO president Darla Stavros and PTO dining out chair Mary Polak.
MacArthur McTeachers had it all covered, and the families enjoyed a spectacular evening. The school plans to use the money raised to go into the fund to support the new water filling stations, in school field trips, end of year assembly and books for the classrooms. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out in their support. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the new Mount Prospect McDonald’s. Many MacArthur teachers shared the pie costume duties but Principal Steve Lee started the event in the costume and did a great job. The MacArthur Jazz Band, Chorus and Serenading Strings did a wonderful job entertaining the families all night. A special appearance by the Chicago Bulls IncrediBulls made this a very memorable evening. Special thank-you goes to PTO dining out chair, Mary Polak, who organized the entire event.
