The Friday evening incident occurred in the area of Howard Avenue and Orchard Street, according to police.
DES PLAINES, IL — While police said there is no threat to the community, an investigation is ongoing into a Friday night shooting in the area of Howard Avenue and Orchard Street. Police responded to the area at around 6:35 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
Police found shell casings in the immediate area, and believe the incident was isolated. There are no reports of injuries.
