Join us for two biking events

Bicycle Safety Training & Bike Arlington Community Ride

Bicycle Safety Training League Cycling instructor Jürgen Juffa will help you become more confident navigating the streets of Arlington Heights in this half-day “Traffic Skills 101” course. After practicing safe handling techniques, you’ll head out and bike on village streets and roadways. For ages 16 and up or 14 and up if accompanied by a parent. Bring your own bicycle and safety gear. Presented in partnership with Arlington Heights Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety Commission (BPAC).

Date and time: Saturday August 15, 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Bike Arlington Community Ride
Enjoy a Labor Day weekend bike tour of Arlington Heights in a divided course – a six-mile short course or a 15-mile ride. Celebrate at North School Park following your ride with bicycle safety tips, crafts, prizes and refreshments. Presented in partnership with Arlington Heights Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Commission (BPAC). Helmets encouraged. For all ages.
