Leaf Pickup Gets Underway in Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — As “leaf season” begins, residents are reminded that from November 4 through December 13, only one yardwaste sticker is needed for every two bags of leaves set out for collection. Many local stores sell the landscape waste stickers.

Stickers are also available at Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road and the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Avenue, according to village officials. Residents who subscribe to the Landscape Waste Subscription program can place three unstickered bags or bundles per week at the curb through October 11.

From October 14 through December 13, subscribers to the program are allowed to place up to ten unstickered bags or bundles per week at the curbside for collection.
