Library President For A Day Contest Nears End In Arlington Heights

Students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade are eligible to enter through Monday.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — One lucky local student will soon be president of the Arlington Heights Memorial Library for a day. Students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade are eligible to enter.

According to library officials, the winner will be recognized at November Committee of the Whole meeting; receive a key to the library; be able to pick out their favorite books, movies, video games, and more for a display in their honor.

Entrants can let the library know if five to 10 sentences why they should be president. Forms are available in Kids' World or a form can be downloaded here.

Drop off submissions at the Kids' World Desk or email to editorial@ahml.info by Monday, Sept. 30. Winner will be notified by mid-October.
