Liquor License Suspended For Arlington Ale House
Three bartenders at the local business are accused of serving beer to two teens in December.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A three-day liquor license suspension has been ordered for the Arlington Ale House after bartenders at the business served beers to two teens during a visit on Dec. 21, the Daily Herald reports. Arlington Heights May Tom Hayes, who also serves as the village's liquor control commissioner, ordered the suspension after Arlington Ale House owner Kevin McCaskey admitted three different ale house bartenders served beer to the teens.
McCaskey said his business has since installed 16 cameras near alcohol-sales areas, hired more security personnel and added a state-of-the-art identification checking system after the boy and girl, both 17 years old, were served at the establishment. They were not asked for identification, according to the Daily Herald.
