Local Gas Station Sells $350,000 Lottery Ticket

If you recently bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket in Schaumburg, you may want to check it.

The Speedway, at 421 West WIse Road in Schaumburg, sold a Lucky Day Lotto ticket that is now worth $350,000.

The winning ticket matched all five numbers -- 06-16-19-23-30 -- during a Friday drawing, according to an Illinois Lottery press release.

The winner is encouraged to immediately sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield and Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.

Speedway will receive a bonus of $3,500, 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling a winning ticket.
