District 214 Swimmers, Divers Qualify for State Meet

Several local high school swimmers and divers will compete this weekend at the state final meet. 

Here is a list of athletes who have qualified for the meet, the event they have qualified in and their qualifying times or scores: 

• Mount Prospect High School junior Nathanael Ginnodo, 100-yard breaststroke, 1:00.04.
• Buffalo Grove senior Matt Schulstad, 100-yard butterfly, 52.40 seconds. 
• Hersey High School senior Mat Obstoj, diving, 407.10.
• Hersey High School's 200-meter relay team, 1:40.28
• Wheeling High School junior Bryce Maczko, 100-yard freestyle, 47.61 seconds. 
• Wheeling High School Freshman Jake Noel, 100-yard backstroke, 52.76 seconds. 

The state final meet will be held on Feb. 22 and 23 at New Trier High School inWinnetka.
