Man Changing Tire Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver On I-80: Police
Kuljeet Singh Kang, 29, was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of a fatal injury crash and reckless homicide, police said.

LANSING, IL — A driver who fatally struck a man who was changing a tire on Interstate 80 and then fled the scene now faces a charge of reckless homicide, according to police.
Kuljeet Singh Kang, 29, of Palatine, was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of a fatal injury crash and reckless homicide in the death of Sebastian D. Stone, 23, of Carpentersville, police said in a news release Monday.
Troopers received reports of the crash around 5:30 a.m. June 24 on the westbound interstate at Torrence Avenue in Lansing, according to state police, who said that Stone was declared dead at the scene and the suspect vehicle had fled.
