Man Found Dead Under Running Car: Palatine PD

PALATINE, IL — A man was found dead underneath a car Sunday night in the 40 block of S. Rohlwing Road. Police said the death was accidental and there was no criminal activity involved.

Police responded to the reports of a suspicious vehicle at around 10:53 p.m. They found the man, who has not been identified, lying on the pavement under a running white Ford F-150. Palatine firefighters pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

Due to the "complexity of the scene," Palatine police requested assistance from the Major Case Assistance Team.
