Man Jumps Over Counter, Robs Elk Grove Village Walgreens: Police
The Monday afternoon incident involved one person, according to police.
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — A Walgreens was robbed Monday afternoon and police are seeking the public's help with the investigation. Police said the incident occurred at around 1:22 p.m. at the 641 Meacham Road location.
According to police, a man jumped over the counter and stole money from the register before fleeing the area on foot. No weapons were implied or displayed during the robbery.
Police said the man was wearing a mask, dark-hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
