Child Pornography, Felony Sexual Abuse Arrest Made: Des Plaines PD

DES PLAINES, IL — A Des Plaines man is facing two felony charges for child pornography and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Antonio Albavera-Cruz, 23, of the 1400 block of Perry Street, was arrested at 1:18 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

Included in a blotter report released Friday, the Des Plaines Police Department said it is not releasing any further information regarding the incident at this time. Instead, police referred to the Cook County State's Attorney's Office for more information. CCSAO told Patch that Albavera-Cruz is due in court at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
