Man Punches, Spits On 2 Police Officers During Arrest: Palatine PD
The 31-year-old is being charged with six felonies and three misdemeanors following the Sunday night incident.

PALATINE, IL — A Palatine man is accused of punching and spitting on two police officers during his arrest Sunday night on a domestic battery charge. Luis A. Camacho, 31, is being charged with six felonies (four counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer, two counts of resisting a peace officer) and two misdemeanors (two counts of domestic battery, one count of obstructing identification).
Camacho was released with pre-trial conditions following a detention hearing and is due back in court on Nov. 20.
Police were called to the 1400 block of Whispering Spring Court at around 6 p.m. Sunday for a report of a disturbance. While investigating the incident, Camacho was told he was under arrest for domestic battery. When officers attempted to take him into custody, he reportedly punched and spat on the two officers.

The officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries, were treated and release at the scene.
The Cook County State's Attorney's Office approved the charges.
