Man Shot While Driving Near I-90 and Route 53 by Woodfield Mall
The victim's injuries weren't life threatening, and state police could confirm few details about Saturday's shooting.
State police are investigating the shooting of an unidentified man Saturday morning near Interstate-90 and Route 53, close to Schaumburg's Woodfield Mall, the Daily Herald reports.
The victim was shot at least once as he was driving after 3 a.m. Saturday, June 25, but Illinois State Police say his injuries weren't life threatening, the report stated. He was taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.
Police could confirm few details about the shooting, and a spokesman said the victim's story was confusing, the report stated.
