Manufacturing Cocaine Bust; Unlawful Gun Possession: Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

ARRESTS

WARRANT

• Leandrew T. Adams, 18, is accused of having a warrant out of Winnebago County, and was arrested at 4:29 p.m. Aug. 16, at a Red Roof Inn, 22 W Algonquin Road.
• Krista Deutsch, 40, is accused of having a warrant, and was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 15, in the 900 block of W Rand Road. Her bond was set at $10,000 and she was assigned a court date of Sept. 13.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARMS

John V. Cullota, 50, is accused of unlawful possession of firearms and firearms ammunition, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:28 p.m. Aug 15, at the BP Station, 2250 S Arlington Heights Road. He was given a $2,000 bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 29.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Martha Elena C. Gutierrez, 28, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood concentration level over .08, and was arrested at 2:10 a.m. Aug. 13, at Arlington Heights Road and Noyes Street. His bond was set at $2,000 and he was assigned a court date of Sept. 29.
• Barbara A. Wasik, 57, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content level over .08, driving under the influence of drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol/drug compound, failure to reduce speed, improper traffic lane usage, and was arrested at 4:08 p.m. Aug 15, in the 1200 block of N Chicago Avenue. Her bond was set at $18,000 and she was assigned a court date of Sept. 10.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Julio Mendez, 28, is accused of operating a vehicle with no valid driver's license, and was arrested at 4:53 p.m. Aug. 14, at E Hintz Road and Fox Run Drive. His bond was set at $2,500 and he was assigned a court date of Sept. 1.

MANUFACTURING A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Sheila K. Sison, 39, is accused of manufacturing of a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of a controlled substance, having an in-state warrant, and was arrested at 6:55 p.m. Aug. 13, at Red Roof Inn, 22 W Algonquin Road. Her bond was set at $30,000 and she was assigned a court date of Sept. 1.
