Meet author Tim Green

As a boy, Tim Green had two dreams: playing in the NFL and becoming a best-selling author. Both of those dreams have come true.

After writing more than a dozen books for adults, Tim began writing a series of novels for young readers set in a world of sports taken from his own experiences as an athlete and a coach. In the meantime, Tim has visited over 1,000 schools and spoken to nearly a half million students across the United States about the importance of education and character, in addition to the joys and benefits of reading.

Save the date so you can meet this award-winning author at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library on Sept. 24. Doors open with refreshments at 6:30 p.m. with Tim’s presentation at 7 p.m.
