Meth Possession Arrest Made At Kohl's: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
A Franklin Park woman was charged with retail theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

- Colby J. Boyce, of the 900 block of Beau Drive, Des Plaines, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 5:09 p.m. May 27, in the 40 block of E. Golf Road, Arlington Heights.
- Rico Rashun Haggard Ruffins, 28, of the 16000 block of W. Easton Avenue, Lincolnshire, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 12:54 a.m. May 24, in the 1600 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. He was released following his arrest.
VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION
- Marcin L. Domaniewski, 48, of the 1100 block of W. Nichols Drive, Arlington Heights, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested at 4:07 a.m. May 30, at the Arlington Heights police station. A court date of May 30 was assigned.
- Marena A. Kelly, of the 100 block of S. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested at 8 p.m. May 29, at the Arlington Heights police station. A court date of May 30 was assigned.

- Jarius D. Groves, 41, of the 1200 block of E. 46th Street, Chicago, is accused of possession of methamphetamine, and was arrested at 7:02 p.m. May 27, at Arlington Heights Road and Elk Grove Township Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of June 23.
- James D. Sullivan, 44, of the 500 block of E. Seegers Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of possession of methamphetamine, and was arrested 6:51 p.m. May 27, at Arlington Heights Road and Elk Grove Township Drive. A court date of May 30 was assigned.
- Kristen E. Swartz, 39, of the 10000 block of Chestnut Avenue, Franklin Park, is accused of retail theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and was arrested at 3:08 p.m. May 29, at the Kohl's parking lot, 800 W. Dundee Road. She was released and assigned a court date of June 3.
AGGRAVATED CRIMINAL SEXUAL ABUSE
James I. King, 31, of the 3700 block of N. Hermitage Avenue, Chicago, is accused of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, child abduction, and was arrested at 9:44 a.m. May 29, in the 2100 block of Euclid Avenue, Rolling Meadows. A court date of May 30 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS
A citizen reported at 4:20 p.m. May 19, someone had stolen the front and rear license plate off her black Mercedes. They had arrived and left in a black Cadillac and a gray Chrysler.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
A resident of the 2300 block of S. Goebbert Road called police to report that during the overnight hours of May 20, someone had broken the front driver's side window on her silver Hyundai, entered the vehicle and subsequently rummaged through the interior.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
An employee at Northwest Eye Physicians, 1588 N. Arlington Heights Road, reported that between May 21 and May 22, someone had used a pry tool in an attempt to gain entry through the north door.
THEFT
A citizen called police to report that between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. May 23, someone had entered his secure locker and stole his wallet at LA Fitness, 345 E. Palatine Road.
VANDALISM
A resident in the 3000 block of N. Wishire Lane reported at 9:10 p.m. May 24, two males had thrown eggs at the side of her garage and kicked the front door to her home. They were described as between 15 and 17 years old, both wearing hoodies, and one wearing a mask.
ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 1800 block of N. Kennicott Avenue called police at 4:08 p.m. May 25, to report they were hearing someone knock on her patio door. The resident then saw a Hispanic male in his 20s looking into the residence, before fleeing the area. Officers located pry marks on the frame of a door on the north side of the house. The person may have arrived and left in a gray Audi.
