Military Members Honored At Arlington Heights Veterans Day Breakfast

The annual event was held Nov. 5 at the Luther Village Retirement Community.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — More than 170 veterans were recently honored during the annual Veterans Breakfast & Celebration on Nov. 5 at the Luther Village Retirement Community.

Among the veterans organizations participating were:

  • American Legion Merle Guild Post 208
  • Arlington VFW Post 981
  • Northwest Suburban Marine Corps League, Det 80
  • Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 311
  • Veterans Roundtable of Luther Village

In addition, the program, included an invocation from Pastor Fred Jacobi, national anthem and armed forces medley performed by the Arlington Men's Chorus, and speakers from John Hersey High School.
