Missing Person Located Safely: Arlington Heights PD
A 54-year-old resident had gone missing earlier in the week and was found by a jogger Wednesday morning, according to police.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A missing 54-year-old man was found safely Wednesday morning by a jogger, who called 911 when they saw them. The man had last been seen Monday night near Arlington Heights and Lake Cook roads. His car had been found in the area.
According to police, a jogger found a man who appeared to be in distress at around 5 a.m. Wednesday, in the area of Nichols and Highland. First responders located the missing man and paramedics took him to a local hospital for medical care. His family was notified, and he was reunited with them.
Arlington Heights police thanked the following agencies for their assistance in the search: Lake County Preserve Police, Buffalo Grove police, Cook County Sheriff's Office, Long Grove Fire Protection, Arlington Heights firefighters, as well as Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove, Palatine, Schaumburg, Mundelein, Barrington, Countryside, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods, Wauconda fire departments, and MABAS Division 1 and 4 Dive and sonar techs, and the Salvation Army Canteen team.
