More Than 100 Monitored After Exposure To Coronavirus Patients

The people all had contact with a couple in their 70s. The man was treated at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Health officials are monitoring more than 100 people who came in contact with an area couple diagnosed with coronavirus in recent days, according to the Daily Herald. The man was treated at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights but has since been released from the hospital and is recovering in home isolation with his wife, who also contracted the virus.

Among those being treated for the virus are health care workers and people who had community contact with the man and woman, who are both in their 70s, according to the article. Cook County Department of Public Health Senior Medical Officer Kirin Joshi told the newspaper it was unclear how many were being self-quarantined.
