Mount Prospect Votes 'No' To Recreational Pot Sales In Town

The village already has a medical marijuana dispensary but will not allow marijuana to be sold for recreational use.

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — Mount Prospect already has a medical marijuana dispensary in town but has decided against allowing the sale of pot for recreational use once it becomes legal in the New Year, the Daily Herald reports. The village board voted 4-2 Tuesday night to opt out of allowing the sale of recreational pot in town.
