The Hall of Fame was created in 2006 to recognize loyal vendors that have become neighborhood landmarks through customer service, community leadership, operational longevity, philanthropic efforts and devotion to quality operations, according to Vienna Beef. The company said only 157 vendors nationwide have been inducted so far.
“Congratulations to Will and Marci Lehnert and the staff, family, friends and customers of Hubby’s on being the newest member of The Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame,” said Tim O’Brien, president of Vienna Beef. “We are proud to work with beloved neighborhood restaurants like Hubby’s that prides itself on building long-lasting relationships and featuring only the highest quality ingredients in its offerings.”

Vienna Beef said Will and Marci Lehnert left corporate careers early in their marriage to return to their restaurant roots. After graduating from Vienna Beef's Hot Dog University, the business grew through catering before opening its first brick-and-mortar location, Hubby's Dog House, in 2019.
The business now serves the Classic Vienna Beef Chicago Dog, along with haute dogs, artisan sausages, prime-grade burgers and Italian beef, according to the announcement. Vienna Beef also said more than 250 customers use Hubby's for private events.
“In Chicago, you don’t sell anything else,” Marci said. “Vienna Beef is the Chicago Dog. We are very excited to be honored by Vienna Beef.”
Will said, “It’s going on my Facebook, where it says Dad of 2, and then ‘Hall of Famer’. We’re going to rock this.”
