NCH offers Flu Shot Clinic at Arlington Heights Senior Center
Clinic will have the regular and high-dose options of the Quadrivalent seasonal flu vaccine

Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) Senior Services will be available from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, October 22 to administer flu shots at the Arlington Heights Senior Center (1801 W. Central Road).
People over 65 are at greater risk of serious complications from the flu because immune systems become weaker with age. Seasonal flu viruses change every year. To keep yourself healthy and immune you need to get a new flu shot annually. The High-Dose Senior Quadrivalent flu shot will be available to those 65 and over.
The vaccine is free for those with Medicare B as their primary insurance. Without Medicare, the cost for the regular dose vaccine will be $29 and $65 for the high-dose option.
