The library is continuing its summer reading partnership with the park district, bringing programs and reading fun to local parks and summer camps. Join us at these programs co-sponsored with the Arlington Heights Park District:
Community Drum Circle
Thursday, June 18, 7–8:30 p.m. / Heritage Park, 506 W. Victoria Lane

Join us for hands-on fun with drums. Enjoy the rhythm outdoors with a short performance and demonstration by Pots and Pans. Then jump in to join the circle. Drums will be provided, or bring your own. All ages welcome.

Bring your parrot, your peg leg and your eye patch to our second annual Pirate Party at the Lake. We’ll have games, crafts, a balloon artist, a pop-up library and fun activities for the whole family.

Be dazzled by the rhythm of the Barefoot Hawaiians at this outdoor, poolside party for all ages. Plus enjoy Hawaiian-themed food, stories and much more.
