Presence Health raises $1.2 million at second Presence Ball

Nearly 1,000 guests raised $1.2 million for Presence Health at The Presence Ball, a black-tie gala on Saturday, March 21, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Celebrity guests included NHL Hall of Famer Bobby Hull, who signed a hockey puck and jerseys during the live auction, as well as former Bears great Dan Hampton.
Archbishop Blase Cupich of the Archdiocese of Chicago addressed the audience, thanking the Sisters who founded Presence Health and all health care workers at the bedside across the state. Chicago restauranteurs Karen and Phil Stefani served as honorary chairs.
Proceeds will be directed to the highest priorities of Presence Health, such as mission-based programs that support the health care needs of the communities we serve from Lakeview to Urbana. Presence Health CEO Sandra Bruce said, “As the healthcare landscape changes, these types of programs [funded by this event] that go beyond the walls of our hospitals and focus on keeping people well will be more important than ever.”
