Raja Honored By American Association of Cardiologists

Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi was recognized by the American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin (AACIO) for his support of U.S. physicians of Indian origin. AACIO promotes conversation among physicians in the Indian community to cultivate academic excellence and clinical practice of cardiology. Congressman Krishnamoorthi issued the following statement:

“I extend my gratitude to the American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin for recognizing me, but more importantly for advocating for the strong Indian community we have in this county. I am honored to be a part of that community and believe that we serve it best when we begin to speak out for all those amongst us.”
