Reclaim NW Suburbs Holds Visioning Forum on July 30

Reclaim NW Suburbs will prioritize the issues that mattered to participants at its earlier visioning forum on June 24.

Reclaim NW Suburbs is hosting a follow-up visioning meeting, “Turning Vision into Action”, on Tuesday, July 30, to review and prioritize the visions and related issues conveyed by northwest suburban residents as the most important to them at its earlier visioning meeting on June 24. The meeting will take place at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Avenue, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Residents from many northwest suburbs attended the initial visioning event and worked in groups to discuss their visions and then shared the results of their discussions. Participants adeptly covered a wide range of ideas and policies that would help all members of their communities, addressing youth and seniors, native born and immigrants, working and middle class residents, and workers and businesses. On July 30, the responses cited the most often will be highlighted and plans of action will be developed that will set the Reclaim NW Suburb’s agenda for the coming year and that will be shared with policy and decision makers throughout the suburbs. This follow-up meeting is open to all residents; attendance at the prior event is not a requirement.
